Hi I'm Sinlapa

I'm the lucky third generation.

About Me

I grew up in the church, and as a girl, was eight-year-old baptized. I have been taught to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ by wonderful parents and have decided to go on a mission at the age of 22. I was called to serve in the Arizona, Tempe Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was proudly born into a faithful family. I had an extremely amazing grandfather. He raised my mom and three other children on small income from riding a tricycle for passengers. My Grandfather and his four children had joined the catholic church before they came to know the Gospel. My Grandfather had been supported when he was catholic; he had a free shelter and his kids went to school without having to pay tuition. I could say my grandfather and my mom had a good time in that moment. But the time went by and my grandfather met two missionaries. The challenge was that he would have been kicked out from a place where he was living and school would have been free no more if he decided to get baptized. Incredibly, he still had a strong desire to do what he wanted. Because of my grandfather's decision, my mom was baptized when she was nine years old as well as her siblings after their age. My brothers, cousins, and I are always grateful for our hero, a strong and faithful grandfather. We are so lucky and blessed. I know through my grandfather's sacrifice and righteousness, I am a child of God. My grandfather was a reminder of mine to live righteously. Heavenly Father loves my family and me, so He blesses me with my mom's dad.

How I live my faith

I know the restored Gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I have gained my stable witness of its truth when I was 15. I have no doubt about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As I live according to Christ's teachings, I have a lot of opportunities to serve other people. I learn to love people all the time and to be a better person. Most importantly, I have a happy life. I have no concerns about things that would be happening in the future as I know that there is God; He will prepare and lead me to the path I should be walking. I live the Gospel as best as I can everyday because I know that what I believe is the most correct.
