Hi I'm Sarah Cluff Garrison

I am a wife. I am a dog mom to two labs. I am a college student. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently going to college finishing my pre requisites for a Radiology program. I am married to a man who does not share my faith. My husband Shawn and I just bought our first home which was exciting and terrifying all at the same time! I love my two dogs, Missy and Luna.

Why I am a Mormon

I did not always want to be a member of this faith, I was born into this religion and found the standards difficult to live by as a youth. However, when I got married to my wonderful husband I remember thinking that I wanted to be married to him for eternity, not just "til death do us part." I remember crying one night with worry that this great man that I loved more than anything was not going to be my husband after we both died. I knew that we could be together even after this life, I remember learning about eternal families in primary and young women's at church. I knew that there was a way that I could be with my husband for not just this life but for the eternities, and I knew that I wanted that more than anything else in the world. I also knew that the gospel was the only thing that could help me with my goal of having an eternal family. I started to change my life and the standards that I set for myself. I decided that nothing as good as eternal marriage comes easy, but that I would have to work very hard for it. I went into my bishop and admitted my mistakes and went through the repentance process. It was hard and very trying. But I know that Jesus Christ helped me through the process of becoming a more Christ like person. I know that Jesus has already suffered for my sins. I know that I am a daughter of God and that he loves me and cares about my life and my marriage. I know that this church is the true restored gospel of Jesus Christ today.

How I live my faith

I get the great opportunity to get together with all the young girls from ages 8 to 11 in my ward and learn more about the gospel while having a ton of fun! I also get to teach a group of kids who are 8 and 9 every week at church. It is so sweet to see their testimonies grow as they learn more each week. I also get to volunteer in the Latter Day Saint Mesa Temple every Saturday morning. The temple is the perfect way to start my weekend and I always leave there with more peace and clarity.
