Hi I'm Mark

I'm a brother, a learner, and a creator. Most importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Mark, I have 4 sisters, no brothers, and I'm the middle child. This has given me the wonderful experience of dealing with all drama that comes from everyday girl life, as well as how to respond to the all important; "How do I look?" question. I enjoy singing, I sang all three years of high school, and loved it every year. I enjoy learning about new things, especially history, or new technology. I also enjoy creating things based on what I learn. I have tried to write a few stories, but I am not blessed with the talent of writing.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel is the anchor in my life. When ever I have a problem, I always know that it can be solved as long as I have the gospel in my life. It also keeps me from doing things that I know I would regret later in life, as well as it keeps me pointed at being the best person I can be. That reason alone is enough for me to stay a Mormon. I also, however, have a firm belief in Jesus Christ, and of his teachings.

How I live my faith

One of the things I love about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is it's high values of service. Service is one of the things Christ himself was best known for, and is part of his everlasting legacy. I try to follow Christ's example by serving my community, ward, and family. Service to me can come in small, or large ways. Sometimes when I see that my sisters are sad, I will buy them ice cream or something to cheer them up. Other times, when I see that my mom is stressed, with a lot to do, I'll do a few of the chores without her asking me to help out. The bigger things include, helping people move, or fixing up someones porch. Either big or small, each act you do means something to the recipient.
