Hi I'm Cade

I am a Lehite. I am a track runner. I am a Mormon

About Me

My name is Cade, and I have been a Mormon for just over 4 years. I absolutely love the people I have met through the Church, and the person the teaching have shaped me into. I recently graduated high school in Utah County. Here in northern Utah, we love the snow. I have been snowboarding for about three years, and I love it. In the summer time, I like to longboard because it's about as close as I can get to snowboarding in the summer. I enjoy all sorts of things like spending time with my family and friends, playing video games, and I can really appreciate a good nap. I definitely plan to continue my passions when I get home from serving as a missionary in California. Once I return, I plan to attend college at the University of Utah!

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a Mormon because I believe that it helps me to be my best self. The church inspires and helps me to be a much kinder, more loving person. The love that I feel from my Heavenly Father allows me to be myself and love others. I have learned through some trial and error that my life goes its best when I am active in the church and doing all the things I am taught to do. I know through my own feelings, thoughts, and experiences that this church is true. This knowledge gives me eternal hope and joy. I believe in a loving God and a church of growth, improvement, love, and hope.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my faith in my every day life. It is easy to do what is right on Sunday at church, but I've learned that as I remember Christ throughout the week, I'm a better person. I am able to act more kind, patient, and loving. I am able to focus on school and be happy with whatever situation I am in. I always try to help others and make their day a little better, even though it's difficult sometimes. I have learned to live my faith by allowing my faith to become who I am. In my church specifically, I help out in any way I can. I serve my neighborhood by participating in weekly meetings. I share my thoughts, feelings, and knowledge with others in church as an attempt to strengthen them, and I try to be strengthened by their thoughts and knowledge. I have a couple of families in the neighborhood that I teach specifically, along with another companion in my neighborhood. Now that I have graduated high school, I will be moving to California for two years to teach anyone who will listen to me. I will serve, teach, and work for people I have never met, in order to share the happiness and love that I have experienced through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
