Hi I'm Keith Burns

I grew up in Belmont Ma. I joined the church three years ago. I'm serving a mission in Twin Falls, Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite sports are soccer, football, and basketball. I love the Patriots, Celtics, and Redsox. I just finished my freshman year at Sarah Lawrence College, where I studied psychology, played basketball and soccer. From September 2015 to August 2017, I will be serving a mission in Twin Falls Idaho. After the mission, I plan on attending BYU-Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel a very special spiritual connection to the fundamental doctrines of the church that I did not feel in my previous religion and other religions I explored. I joined the church in 2012 and have seen this decision bless my life in so many ways. As a member of the church, I am not only surrounded by a incredibly kind, unselfish, and loving community, but feel that I can come closer to God and Jesus Christ every day. To put it simply, being a full-time member of the Mormon Church makes me strive to become the best person I can be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through action. As a recent convert, there are many doctrines and principles of the church that are very hard to wrap my mind around. I have doubts and unconventional beliefs. However, when I sincerely act on the doctrines and principles of the church and strive to fully apply them into my life, I feel that I am a better person and am coming closer to God. This is enough for me to keep walking forward in faith.
