Hi I'm Logan Stepp

I grew up in Texas. I go to college at BYU. I am currently serving a mission for The Church in Barcelona Spain. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Dallas Texas into a Mormon family. I have lived an amazing life full of blessings and opportunities that I directly relate to my membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. Growing up I played sports all my life and had many friends I was blessed to be able to spend my time with. In High School I worked full time at Best Buy and really gained a knowledge and passion for technology. I am a Finance Student hoping to take on the cooperate world in the investments area. Currently I am in Barcelona Spain sharing our message in Spanish, Catalan, and a few other special dialects with all the wonderful people here. I love my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon, but that is not why I am a Mormon. All of my life I have witnessed the men and the fathers of this church have a genuine love for their wives and families, and the highest level of respect for all. I have seen and experienced endless occasions where people in need have been helped, confrontations have been avoided, and where happiness at the highest level has been enjoyed. Why have I witnessed all of this? Because the members of this church are taught the character of Christ and what that means. And we understand that charity is the pure love of Christ. This gospel does amazing things in changing the hearts of man from themselves to others. So, through this charity and compassion I have always witnessed, I have always had a love for the church. Then, a few years ago I finally decided that I needed to find out for myself exactly what I believe, so I read the Book of Mormon and prayed intensely to God asking him to tell me of its truthfulness. And I received my answer. The answer didnt come completely all at once, but it came as a Book of Mormon prophet taught us. It started as a small seed, and having courage enough to plant it and nourish it I was, in time, able to see the seed sprout. And as this seed continued to grew I continued to do the things that it requires to grow it, (read, pray, keep commandments.) Over time my faith (small seed,) has grown into a tree and I can now enjoy the fruit thereof. This is how a testimony is gained. Its not that we simply experiment with God and do one simple, half effort prayer and expect a reply. We as children of God have to do it his way and it all starts with the smallest particle of faith. Never in my life have I seen so much joy be brought to the lives of man, than through this gospel and this church.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church I was always active in my youth programs. We would camp frequently, play sports together, and learn together in ways that really brought us all close. Some of my best friends since I was 12 have came in result of our youth group. When I got a little older(16) I was able to do an Eagle Scout project for my city. Boy Scouts is a program widely supported by the church and because of this I learned many valuable skills that hardly any boys my age know. Also, how many people can say they are an Eagle Scout? Our church puts to absolute most high importance on families and raising us boys to be men of God and to do everything we can to raise a loving family that is a blessing to our communities apposed to a hindrance.
