Hi I'm Mary Fisher

I grew up in Utah. I went to USU for a year and now I'm heading on a mission to Ventura, California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live off of new experiences, traveling and people. I attended Utah State University for one year and I loved it! I recently came back from a humanitarian trip to Thailand where my eyes were completely opened to poverty and broken families. Coming home I've realized how much I took for granted including my parents, home and family. Going to Thailand confirmed my decision to serve a mission. I recently was called to the sunny California, Ventura mission, I can hardly wait to serve the Lord and his children. As long as I can bless one soul I will feel fulfilled. I am blessed enough to have parents who love each other very much. I'm the oldest of 5 siblings, I live and grew up in a very happy and loving household. During my down time I love to be with my family and just laugh. I am happiest when I'm singing or doing some sort of craft. I love to shop, create and learn about different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the LDS church are primary lessons would always fall back on the family and home. To me especially in this day and age family is underway and in a crisis. Where confusion lays ahead at what is right and what is wrong. This confusion disappears when you hear the Prophet and apostles voices as they are inspired by our Heavenly Father. It is so comforting for me to know that if I live a faithful, righteous life I can have a forever family. I am Mormon because of the guidance we can receive and the peaceful reassurance and recondition from our loving Heaven Father. Being Mormon is a lifestyle. It isn't a once a year church meeting we go to church every Sunday to partake of the sacrament to remember Jesus and to be clean again. We are asked to do certain things like living the word of wisdom, law of chastity and paying a full tithe. The things we are asked to do is to keep as on a safe path and to most importantly led us back to our Heavenly Father. Remember Christ has a divine plan for each and every one of his children. You are not forgotten you are loved and have a glorious destiny if you choose to live a righteous life you will be blessed, I promise you that.

How I live my faith

I was born in the convent, I was lucky enough to have this wonderful gospel given to me before I could remember. I have been involved in young women's presidencies, youth counsel committees, etc. I am very excited to serve a full time mission for 18 months. I can't wait to be anxiously engaged in his work.
