Hi I'm Austin Anderson

I love my family and friends like no other. I LOVE to sing, dance, act, swim, and draw. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 2 in my family and I can speak both English and Japanese. I spend a lot of my time with friends and family. Whenever I can find an opportunity to sing, dance, or act, I don't miss it. My other hobbies include swimming, drawing, writing stories, songs, and poems, playing the piano, violin, and guitar, and having fun. Ever since I was little, music always had this strong effect on me and it made me always want to pursue it and use it in a way that would touch someone's life in a some way that would lift up their spirits. In the future, I hope to be able to do music for a living and hope to be able to learn more about writing songs. Prior to attending college, I will be serving a mission in Japan from September 2015-2017. I love my life, friends, and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the L.D.S. Church. My parents have always been the biggest examples of showing me how I should be, and want to become. I have been able to see the truth in the work and glory that God has provided for all of His children here on Earth. As I have grown older, I've been able to read the Book of Mormon and through the power of the Holy Ghost, I have gained a strong love and testimony in the gospel. In addition, I have received many spiritual experiences that have helped me through hard times and know that I am a son of God. The gospel brings me so much joy and happiness to my life and without it, I woulnd not be the person that I am today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to become more live our Savior, Jesus Christ, and look for opportunities to help introduce people to the gospel. I hold the Melkhezidek Priesthood and I do my best to live worthy of such an office. This work uplifts me everyday and it teaches me that God loves each and every one of His children. I cannot wait to share this gospel to the people of Japan on my mission.
