Hi I'm Karson Woodmansee

I was raised in Utah. I am a martial artist. I'm a mormon

About Me

I am a High School graduate who is waiting to leave on his mission to Spain Barcelona. I have done martial arts since I was five years old and I love it: I am a purist so that means that I don't fight other people I just study martial arts because it is beautiful. I also enjoy singing and drama. I would like to be in a major motion picture someday playing a superhero. I enjoy daily adventures like: kayaking in the neighborhood creek, rock climbing, driving my scooter around, doing parkour, obstacle courses, air softing, and rifle shooting. I really like to eat and excersize: my favorite food is seafood generally and white rice ( I love that stuff!) I am never inside; especially using technology... I'm not afraid of it I would just rather go outside to find something fun to do. I am an aethiest convert: I was raised LDS but I fell away in eighth grade but I found the truth on my own and now my testimony is not only strong but it is my own. Before I was Aethiest I relied heavily on everyone else's testimonies but now it is not that way at all! I love comedy and action movies: my favorite movie right now is gaurdians of the galaxy.

Why I am a Mormon

I stated this earlier but I fell away from the church simply because; I didn't believe that it was true. When I left the church my life fell apart because it created a chasm between myself and my family...Let's just say that I will not soon forget all of the trials and challenges I had that year. At the end of eighth grade my Mother sent me to EFY and I did not want to go at first but; I got there and I felt promptings to listen and I did. My counselor his name was Jeffrey: challenged me to pray to heavenly father to know what to do. I am not one to shy away from an honest challenge so I did I prayed and he impressed upon me that he had a plan for me and that he loved me. Ever since that powerful day I have never doubted my faith.

How I live my faith

I was recently ordained an elder and my only calling right now is as a ward missionary. Ward missionaries are members of the church who once a week knock doors for three hours and try to connect with local investigators. It is a difficult calling because in Utah especially: everyone knows about the church and has their own idea's about what Mormons believe. We have however had a lot of success when people first move here and they haven't been exposed to all of the strange idea's of the world. I am also a home teacher and I teach two great families and I just got a pair of newly weds so I cant wait to know them better!
