Hi I'm Kimmie

Born and raised Californian. I love adventure. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My goal in life is to live and not just exist. From horseback riding, swimming, and hiking to relating insight and having genuine kindness towards others, my heart is set on making life the best experience. I am a first year college student at Brigham Young University of Idaho and major in Communications. Highlighting influential individuals through broadcasting interviews is a dream I will reach one day. I love being outside as much as possible and am strongly dependent on the sun for the well being of my life! I love being active, meeting new people, trying new things, and being busy...all while having a smile on my face (:

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings and doctrines taught ring true. Knowing that we are apart of God's Plan of Happiness here on Earth brings me such clarity, significance, and purpose. Knowing that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, all mankind may be saved, brings peace, hope, and courage that I can always keep pressing forward even when I am imperfect. Through Christ, we can be in the presence of our loving Heavenly Father again and through him there is no death. Knowing that we are eternal beings and have been alive before mortal life and will still live after death brings immense comfort to me. I can live fully because of the understanding of why I am here and where I came from, and that I am loved and supported without fail.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by walking and relying in the Savior's example. His charity and service toward mankind is an action that I want to contribute to others, and is an action that brings true happiness and clarity into my life. Each life on Earth is so crucial, so influential, so critical to our growth, happiness, and knowledge. Because I have such a true testimony and conviction in that phrase, I want to live in a way that others can feel that truth. Throughout my years of being a member, I have had the opportunity to serve as president in the church's Young Womens organization, have been a Youth Camp Leader at a Young Womens Camp for two years, and have been a Youth Hike Leader this past year for the same camp. I am currently the Monday Night Activities Planner/Coordinator for the Young Single Adults in the church, as well as a Ward Missionary! I am called to serve as a full-time missionary in the Vina del Mar, Chile mission and report October 21st! The gospel has brought such joy in my life as I have collaborated with different people and have been influenced by the goodness of others striving to be the best they can be.
