Hi I'm Camilla

I was born in the Philippines, but I now live in Canada and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the Philippines to very loving parents. However, my family moved to the big and beautiful country of Canada, just a couple years later I was born. I am attending university and have now finished my first year. In my spare time, I like to cook and go on nature walks.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born a Mormon. My parents raised me in the gospel and taught me the righteous way to live my life. Even though I was born in the gospel, I also had to seek out my own testimony. While I was growing up, especially when I was in high school, I was always very passive about the church and I did not have my own testimony of the gospel. I relied on my parent's testimonies to help me strengthen myself. However, as I have moved out of my parent's house to go to university, I realized that I needed to seek out my own testimony to continue becoming strong in the church. I started to pray, night and day, and to read my scriptures everyday and it has very much built up my testimony in the gospel. I go to church every week and I seek to do the will of the Lord. In the end, it does not matter if you were born into the church or not, because it is still an individual's choice to become a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the commandments of God and building up his kingdom. I pray, read the scriptures everyday and go to church weekly as commanded by God. I testify that there have been many blessing as I have done all these things. I help build the Lord's kingdom by accepting church callings which are offered to me. I also visit teach fellow sisters, so that they may have friends and that they can have someone to turn to if they ever need help.
