Hi I'm Nick Wilsher

I was born in England, and now live in Canada. I am a police officer in Canada and was one in England. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am the second eldest of 4 children, and now the father of 5 children with wife of 25 years. I grew up in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. I served a mission in Canada and now live there. I was police officer in the UK and I am one here in Canada too. I have a degree in Education, and I love to read, teach, hike, and have fun.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was young. They had been Church of England before that and I grew up knowing about God and Jesus Christ. As I grew, my parents encouraged me to actively find out for myself the truthfulness of the church and Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was their example of being Christ like that impressed me the most. I wanted to be like them and so learnt about the person they tried to be like, Jesus Christ. It was while reading the Book of Mormon that I gained a testimony of Jesus Christ, as my Saviour and Redeemer, and from there I have learnt that this is His church.

How I live my faith

I have served in many differing roles in the church, but teaching is my favourite role. I enjoy the opportunities my faith gives me to serve the community, such as food drives, community clean ups and during the winter helping my neighbours clear the snow.
