I plan on Majoring in Psychology and have my career focused on Chilld Psychology because I love kids. My hobbies include Art, Dance, and Aerial Silks. I love sarcasm and I am sarcastic with almost everything. I love music except country. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love to travel and hope to see the world some day. I will be serving a mission for 18 months in the Argentina Buenos Aires South Mission and I cant wait to leave.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so I have been a member for most of my life. As a youth, I grew strong in the church with my family but when transitioned from a youth to a single adult I became inactive. I was inactive for two years due to horrible experiences in my ward, but I never decided to stop believing in the gospel. I slowly started coming back and once I found my single adult ward I decided to stay. I had forgotten what it felt like to go back to church and how the spirit was strongly present when I went. After a year of strongly being active in the church, I decided to get my patriarchal blessing. I never felt the spirit so strongly in my life and ever since then I had never had the feeling in wanting to fall away from the church. Another year passed and I decided to go on a mission. I am heading to the Argentina Buenos Aires South Mission at the end of October. Sometimes you just have to find out for yourself why the church is true and not let someones beliefs define which faith you should choose.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ because when we become like him we strive to not be like the natural man. In Mosiah 3:19 it states "For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father." We must be humble, kind, loving and think of others before you think of yourself because we have to be the type of person that isnt ashamed in the presence of our Heavenly Father. The way I live my faith is by taking action and in doing so its important for me to do service, to follow the commandments of our Heavenly Father, to dress modestly, and to love one another. I know I am not perfect but I am trying to be so I can become like Him.
