Hi I'm Becca

Mi comida favorita es la pizza. I actually don't speak Spanish. Yet. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 5'2" brunette who loves to play soccer, do anything crafty and keep things organized. When I grow up I want to teach first grade but ultimately when the time comes I want to be a mom. But that's a quite a ways into the future! I was born and raised in Utah and am number two of five kids. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. I probably sound like I come from a fairly stereotypical Mormon family. And yes that's true. Even though my family and I seem about as cookie cutter as they come, doesn't mean that we are over looked by our loving Heavenly Father. He loves me and my family just as much as he loves you and your family!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I want to be. I'm a Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and it's teachings are true. I'm a Mormon because I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is what brings us the truest happiness in this life and in the life to come. I have grown up in the Church so I have always known about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, but that doesn't mean I didn't have to search for a testimony and know of the truthfulness for myself. Through the power and gift of the Holy Ghost, which I received when I was baptized and confirmed when I was 8 years old, I have received my own personal witness that this is Christ's church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I am currently in a young single adult ward. The members in these type of wards are adult ages 18-30 who are not married. Typically the ward members are going to college and experiencing life in the fast lane just as you are. I live my faith by serving as an instructor on Sundays for the women in my ward. My favorite part about my calling is getting to bear my testimony to these young sisters when I have the opportunity to teach. I am about to embark on the biggest adventure of my life as I am soon heading to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Serving a mission is just one way that I can live my faith as I am devoting 18 months of my life to my Savior, Jesus Christ. A small price to pay for what He has done for me.
