Hi I'm Sally

I was born at home, without a Doctor, in Bremerton, Washington. I love bridge jumping and make delicious apple pie. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am currently going to college and have completed one year. I plan on getting a Bachelor's Degree in business management before going to Massage Therapy school. I am also interested in reflexology. I think it would be fun to use my massage skills in the future to work for a sports team of some sort and eventually have my own practice so I can be a mother. I used to play soccer and basketball in high school and my siblings run cross country so I know how much a massage therapist can be used and appreciated in a sports setting. Some other things I like to do are dance, sing, laugh, and work. Right now I am a waitress. While I actually can make pretty good money as a waitress during the summer, I feel like it isn't what I want to do forever. I'm excited to learn about managing a business, learning about the muscles and joints in the body, and putting both of those knowledges together to help build my future family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were members the church, but that is not why I go now. I am 19 and very capable of making my own decisions. I have decided to serve a mission because I know that this is the true church. We teach the gospel of Jesus Christ who I know lived and died to be an example and a helper to us. I know he lives now and is guiding us with every step we take. He is our brother, and he is God's son. He loves us more than we can comprehend and wants us to share His love with others. The Book of Mormon is just another testament of Him that tells about when he came to the America's to teach the people here who hadn't had a chance to meet Him. Prophets had testified of His coming, and those believers were so anxious to meet Him and learn of the new guidance he offered them. The Book of Mormon is practically a history book about America. I know it is true because not only does it fit in with geological and historical studies being done, I also feel in my heart that it is true. The Holy Ghost, who is the third member of the god head, bears witness to me that what is written in the book is complete truth. I like being a member of the church because when I choose to be obedient to the prophet Thomas S. Monson or any of his counselors, I feel good about myself. I feel like I am progressing. When I choose to do things my own way, I begin to feel lost, confused, and get discouraged. I can't figure out why I am not happy! It takes a little prayer and a little faith to get back on the right course. I always seem to find my way back into the light, and life gets better once again. I am a mormon, because I like being happy, and I am definitely the happiest when I am feeling God's love for me.

How I live my faith

I have served in a few different areas regarding my faith. I have accepted every position the church wanted to offer me. I have been in charge of young women my age, visited other ladies in my ward and offered advice and comfort, and taught five year old's all I know about the gospel. I live my faith every day though, praying and reading the scriptures. My siblings and parents like to read the Book of Mormon together every night. I practice playing church songs on the piano, I always dress modestly to show respect for my body, and use kind words no matter where I am.
