Hi I'm David Peacock

I'm a musician. I'm a finance geek and a gamer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a musician by hobby. I play the clarinet, saxophone (soprano, alto, tenor, bari), piano, and drum set. I have enjoyed the privilege of playing with the BYU-Idaho Symphony Band and University Band. I have also enjoyed studying clarinet under Clarinet Professor Adam Ballif. I have many friends who are astounding musicians that are a joy to perform with, which I have had many chances to do. I have also dabbled in choir when I made the first a Capella group in my school. I was able to enjoy drama only my senior year in high school, but it was an amazing experience. I have made the study of finance an interest I indulge in my spare time. Education has always been important to me. I plan to improve my skills in building businesses and investing. I hope to become financially free early in life so I can allot more of my time and energies to serve the people on this earth. I want to become rich so I can support the things I want to support in my life. I am also a gamer. I have enjoyed the wonderful worlds of Kingdom Hearts, Tales of Symphonia (and other Tales games), Ratchet and Clank, Jack and Daxter, and of course Super Smash Brothers (Project M). I invest time in some of these games because of the stories, lessons, and analogies to gospel I experience while playing them. They have also helped me to make friends with more people. I have grown a lot since entering the Provo MTC in mid-October. I've gained a testimony of the power of faith.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned so much about our world by being a Mormon. I have become a better person because I am a Mormon. I haven't given up hope yet because I am a Mormon. The reason I am a Mormon is because it allows me to help and be a friend to more people. I make it a goal to spread happiness wherever I am, whoever I'm with. I believe that being apart of this church will make me the best I can be. No matter what stage I am at in life I will try and serve God and my fellow man, and I believe that I can do that best while in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by becoming the best person I can be. Striving. I accept that I will always make mistakes. But when I use my failures to fuel my striving for success I become better. When I do my best I succeed in developing into my full potential. I live by the manner of happiness. In all of my callings I try to teach by my example. I share what I learn with my family and friends. Weather it be worldly or spiritual I share knowledge.
