Hi I'm Nadine

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. My parents taught me the love on country. I love my family. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to garden. I love to sew. I love to cross stitch. I love to knit and crochet. I love learning new homemaking skills. I'm from a family of 4 children, as a child I experienced the earthquake of 1969 in Seattle. We lost are fish tank that day, and at school was taught how to get under are desk for the after shocks. I have been blessed with 3 children and a wonderful husband. The happiest time of day as the children were home is when all were safe and home together. I was taught to love life and see beauty in all of God's creations.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to have been born into a family that have been long time members of the Church. So when I was eight I was so excited to be baptized and because I was so small I stood on my dads shoes to keep my head above the water. Even with being born into the church their came I time when I needed to pray and know that it was true myself. Seminary as a teenager helped me to gain that testimony that I wanted and needed to help me stand on my own. Life has not always been easy but the church gives me purpose and direction. As an adult I have had the privilege to have been a seminary teacher for 14 years. In seminary we study the scriptures at great depth. This helped me to build my testimony more and more. One thing I know is that trails will come and so when they come I always say, what am I to learn from this trial so I can get on to the next. Trails help you to grow and gives you more experience. I am so blessed and know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints is true. We are so blessed to have a prophet on the earth today. I know that the Savior lives and that He has made it possible for us to return to are Heavenly Home with Heavenly Father and Mother. I hope that I can endure and live my life so I am worthy of that great honor.

How I live my faith

I serve as the activities committee chair for the women in are ward. Where I plan with my committee the extra activities. Super Saturday is where we get together and do crafts for the upcoming holidays. We also plan informational and homemaking skills activities. We are blessed to have a widow that lives across the street from us. As a family we take upon ourselves to make sure the weeds are out of her yard. We also take care of other needs that she might have.
