Hi I'm Seth Ray

I Am from Queen Creek Arizona. I'm all about engineering and off road racing. I love my momma, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in the Grand Canyon State all my life and love it. I have done a bit of everything... I worked building UAVs for a time, as well as worked as the head motor mechanic for an Electric Bike shop. I love anything with wheels and love the southern Dezert. My team just won the 2015 SADR class 10 Offroad championship, and I am building a class 1450 Race truck. I am currently serving in the Utah Salt Lake City South mission returning August 2017

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church to two very active parents. Most of my life I attended simply because we always did as a family and it was all I knew. As I began to prepare to serve I realized that as an adult, all these choices became my own. I could go to church if I wanted to, or I could sleep in if I wanted to. I realized that if I put effort into the church that I got something out of it. Because of this, I began to put more into the church and began to strive to learn more about our Savior and the Gospel, bringing myself much happiness in the process.

How I live my faith

I have been preparing to serve a mission for as long as I can remember. When I got my call I realized that running through the motions is good, but isn't nearly enough to get me closer to my Savior. I remembered that I have been taught that in the Gospel you are never at a stand-still, you are always either moving forwards or backward in your faith. I thought that I didn't quite feel as if I was advancing in the Gospel, and I needed to change that. By striving to study the scriptures daily and pray with a purpose I have felt the Holy Ghost begin to come to me more in my every day life, letting me feel the love of the Lord.
