Hi I'm Rylie

I'm a Brigham Young University - Idaho student, a missionary in St. Louis MO, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am enrolled at BYUI, I will be serving in the Missouri St. Louis mission for the next 18 months. I have 5 siblings, 2 nieces, and a nephew, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE being an aunt! I love to swim and do anything in the water or outdoors. I am always up for an adventure!

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were born into the church, so therefore I was also. I always read that if you wanted to know that this church was true, you have to pray about it with real intent (the desire to act on what you learn), but I didn't really feel like I was getting an answer. Then one day I was sitting in church and people were telling their conversion stories and so many people said something like "I prayed to know that the church was true, but then I realized I have known it my whole life." The spirit testified to me in that classroom that this was the case with me, l have just always known how true the Mormon church is. And I love it! Living the gospel has brought me so much joy that I don't even know what to do with it! It is seriously such an incredible feeling and that is also why I am going on a mission... I want to share that joy with others.

How I live my faith

Up at school, I was a teacher for the women in my ward, and in high school I did a lot of work with the youth, including seminary (which is a class every week day during high school where you go to study the scriptures) council president, youth council advisor(planning activities for the youth), and class president in my youth age group. I love studying the scriptures and conference talks and just listening to the words of our prophets.
