Hi I'm Ryan

I was born in Mt. Holly, NJ. I'm a missionary in the St. Louis Missouri mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA. I had the opportunity to experience many different cultures, which was something that I thought was great. I have several hobbies that I enjoy that I learned from my father and my family: snowmobiling, fishing, crabbing, clamming, programming computer software, and a great love of sports cars.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of His church because it does so much for my life. Without the commandments and the Gospel, I would not be where I am today. I have witnessed my friends and their trials and realized with gratitude, that I am able, with my Heavenly Father's and Savior's help, to come through them with a better perspective, and stronger as a result. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been such a blessing to me. It is because of this, that I am eager to share what has been a great happiness in my life with others. I want others to have the opportunity to be an eternal family. I want others to know that God lives, that He is kind and loving. I want others to know that Christ is our Savior, and loves us as the brother that He is. I want others to know that the commandments and the Gospel can bring us the peace and joy that will be the best way to go through this life.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in the Saint Louis, Missouri mission in the United States. The best way I can describe how I live my faith is through service. My parents, and especially my grandfather, taught me that the best thing I can do is to always be engaged in a good work. Some of my favorite service opportunities have been cleaning up a section of a large city with other youth my age--being able to make a real difference to people that couldn't do that for themselves was one of the most memorable experiences that I have had so far. I had a great time planning and creating a patio under a pavilion at a local park for families that had no real place to go and gather as a community. Watching the children come out and try it out as soon as it was finished, and seeing their faces was such a great thing for me. Over the years, many different service opportunities, large and small, have provided me a solid testimony of the importance of loving people as the Savior did, by making a personal difference in their lives. When the Savior did something for someone, He did something meaningful that they really needed at that moment, whether it was sitting down and talking to them, teaching a skill, or helping them spiritually. It is through service that I have been able to see people as the Savior does, and it gives me a lot of happiness to be able to do what I can to make someone's life better, even for a moment.
