Hi I'm Thomas

Hi, I grew up all around the United States. I just finished High School. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Colorado. I have 3 younger siblings, a brother and two sisters. I love my friends, playing lacrosse, being active, and longboarding(just a few things out of many). I plan on going to a college here in state after I serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. My parents were also raised in the church. This being said, I don't really have a reason I "joined" the church. There are many reasons for my "conversion" to this faith however. The main reason for me being how much joy it brings in to my life. Keeping this short and simple, when you live by the ways you are supposed to live in this faith, you will have joy. For example, when you strive to follow Jesus' teachings or strive to have a Christlike attitude it will bring an undeniable joy that you can differ from when you weren't living by those ways. I myself have tasted from both truths. I have seen the side of addiction and major sin, but with that I am able to distinguish between right from wrong and I can tell that when I am living righteously I can have so much more joy.

How I live my faith

I like to be involved with service in my ward. For the past while I haven't really been in any leadership roles of had any callings because I had just graduated and I was sort of in limbo before I left to serve a mission(I actually leave tomorrow morning), but I feel like I do participate in my ward a bit. I love to be able to go with the missionaries or other older men to assist or visit other members who need a hand, some comfort, or moral support. I like to be able to bear my testimony using service.
