Hi I'm Stockton

I grew up in Colorado. I love playing basketball and running track. I love spending time with my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from high school and currently attend BYU. I love basketball and running track, although I don't get to do those things much anymore. I have been called to serve in the Tennessee, Nashville Mission from November 2015-November 2017 and I could not be more excited. I am the youngest of 8 people in my family, all boys besides my mom. Growing up in a relatively big family has been a blast and has taught me a lot. I love the Gospel because of all of the blessings it has brought me and my family,

Why I am a Mormon

I really do love being a Mormon. People sometimes think that it is too restrictive and that Mormons aren't allowed to have any fun. I really think it is the opposite. Obeying guidelines that the church has established has made me more free than I would be without the church. I am free from addiction of any kind, and I feel completely in control of my life. I choose to remain chaste until marriage because I love whoever my wife will be that much. I want to save myself for her not only because it is a commandment of God, but also because I want her to save herself for me as well. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has made me the happy person that I am today. I know that God has blessed me so much because I have chosen to obey his commandments. I love all the knowledge and guidance that the church brings me and I can't imagine how much harder life would be without the church. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Through the LDS church, growing up I had a lot of opportunities to give service to people in our community. We would try to at least once a month find someone who we could help with anything they needed. When I was younger, I felt that the service we were giving was more of a burden but as I got older, I learned to love serving others through their appreciation and the feelings of happiness I would always get.
