Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a raspberry craver. I love to rock climb. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of seven. Ya it gets kind of crazy but it's fun and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love every single one of my siblings. Its cool at times because we can play soccer and other things in the backyard and I'm never short of a friend when I want to do something. Sometimes I wish I had an older brother but whenever I'm lost I can always turn to my savior for an example and guidance. Some other things about me; I love to rock climb. Its always a great feeling when you reach the top and look down at how far you've climbed. I also love to play soccer and have played it since I was a little kid. It's honestly the best sport in the world :). I love hanging out with friends and going on ice-cream runs with them and just doing whatever. I love being spontaneous and just enjoying life!

Why I am a Mormon

I always grew up with the church. My parents were members and so were my grandparents. Having grown up with the church makes it hard to really find a testimony for yourself. I have often wished to have read the Book of Mormon for the first time without having ever read or heard about the stories before. Despite everyone around me always telling me the church was true I was still able to find out for myself like everyone else does. From confirmations from the spirit I have little by little gained a sure testimony of this gospel. I'm a Mormon because I grew up with the amazing blessing of this gospel already in my life but I'm still a Mormon because through confirmations deep down inside me I have found this gospel to be true. I felt it when I finished reading the Book of Mormon and I feel it every time I go to church and do things such as watch general conference. I love this gospel and wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm proud to be a Mormon!!

How I live my faith

I am a leader in my youth group and with that responsibility I have learned so much. I am not a natural leader but because of this church I have been able to learn and grow in ways I never would have imagined. I have learned a lot being a leader of my youth group but the activities we do and the friendships I have gained have been a great benefit to my life as well. I have loved being apart of the youth group from doing things like shot gun shooting, boating or just playing basketball in someone's backyard. Then every Sunday I get to go and share my testimony with my friends and receive strength from their's. We share experiences from our lives good and bad and help each other in any way that we can. We also perform a lot of service projects in our community and are always looking for ways to help the people around us. I have found no greater joy than from doing service for others.
