Hi I'm Taylor

I was born in California. Moved to Colorado when I was 8. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My favorite thing to do is drum. I have been drumming since 8th grade, and my senior year of high school I tried out for and made it onto a world-class drumline. (Even though I wasn't able to do it after I made it on). Some of my other hobbies include snowboarding, wakeboarding, and soccer. After my two year mission to the Ghana, Kumasi Mission, I will be attending Weber State University and playing for their drumline.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, was baptized when I was 8 years old, and have continued to go to church ever since. When I was around the age of 14-17, I started doing things that didn't agree with some of the church's standards. I really didn't want to be a part of it anymore. I continued to go anyway because I didn't want my parents to know fearing that they would be severely disappointed. When I was 17 and almost 18 we watched a mormon message by Elder Holland entitled, "Staying Within the Lines". Now I had already seen this video probably about 2 or 3 times prior and never really payed attention. This time I did. This message came across me so strongly I could have sworn I just walked into a brick wall of inspiration. This made me fix my undesirable ways, and I was able to repent for all I had done. I am now going to serve the Lord in the Ghana, Kumasi Mission. I am grateful for this gospel and know that everything about is true.

How I live my faith

In my ward recently I have begun to teach some of the different classes as preparatory work before I leave on my mission. I have taught in our Gospel Principles class which is just the basics and beginning principles of our religion.
