Hi I'm Jace Parker

My name is Jace Parker and I'm happily serving a mission in Novosibirsk Russia

About Me

More than anything, I love my family.I've grown up all over the United states because my Father served in the U.S. Army. I have an amazing Mom and Dad, 5 brothers and a sister who I love! Three of my brothers are triplets and one of them has Autism. I love taking care of him and helping children with special needs and coaching little-league sports. I've played lots of sports and I really enjoy lacrosse and football. I'm serving a volunteer mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Siberia region of Russia.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandparents joined the church about 30 years ago. My parents have taught me since I was very young to choose the right and to be Christ-like. When I was 8 years old I was baptized by my father and I have been active in the church since then. My family has always prayed and read scriptures together and doing those things brought a special feeling or spirit to me confirming that the scriptures are truly the word of God. When I turned 16 I decided that it was time that I should make the decision to serve a mission to bring others closer to God. I chose to for-go my first 2 years of college and the opportunity to play sports, and serve for my church. I was called to serve and teach in Russia and I want the people of Russia to feel the same joy that I do through the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Prior to my mission, I went on splits with the missionaries from my ward and taught investigators from near my home in North Carolina. This year, I organized and participated in a church Basketball program within my ward to help members grow closer.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

I know that through the restored gospel all families can be eternal and that as long as we accept the gospel, live by the commandments, and follow Christ's example, we can live with our loved ones again, eternally. Show more Show less
