Hi I'm Daleen

I was raised in Payson Utah. I work as a cosmetologist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I played basketball and volleyball in high school. I have my cosmetology license. I enjoy painting. I find beauty and peace when I'm outdoors. My family is the most important thing to me in this whole world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents and Grandparents are all members and I've learned much from their faith and examples as they actively serve in the church. My conversion to the gospel didn't happen when I was born. I didn't receive a testimony all at once. When I was about 10 or 11 I decided to read the book of Mormon and as I did so I prayed hard to know whether this was the true church. As I prayed and studied my prayers were answered and I felt an overwhelming feeling that the book of Mormon was true and that through Joseph Smith our Heavenly Father restored his church back on the earth. I knew and still know that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in true. As I have lived by its teachings and followed the words of the prophets my life has been filled with true happiness. I have been blessed in so many ways. Sometimes we may think that the standards set are too much for us to handle but the blessings that come from living them are far greater than any temporary joy we think we find from breaking them. I know God lives and loves us and will always be beside us ready to help and guide us.

How I live my faith

I recently served as a member of my high school seminary council. I was able to share of my faith in Jesus Christ and my testimony of him and this gospel with my fellow students. We planned and organized activities to help students feel welcome at seminary. I've recently been called to serve a mission in Chesapeake Virginia. I am excited to go and serve the Lord for 18 months.
