Hi I'm Quinn

I was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington. I am studying to become a cardiologist, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Quinn, I attend college studying human biology. I have lots of siblings, and love spending time with them doing anything from working out and playing sports to watching movies and playing video games. My siblings and I like to get friends together and set up games of basketball or even ultimate frisbee.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but as a teenager I had serious doubts about the doctrines taught by the Church. When I was deciding where to attend college, I finally felt an impression from the Holy Ghost that I needed to attend BYU-Idaho. Before I went there, I read the Book of Mormon and I could feel that it was true. After I read the whole thing, I followed to advice given by the prophet Moroni near the end of the book to pray and ask God if it was true. When I prayed, I could feel a warmth inside me that was the spirit testifying to me of the truthfulness of the book. Since then I have done everything I could to change my life to fit the teachings of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by trying to keep my thoughts and actions centered on Christ and on what I can do for the people around me. I haven't had a lot of opportunities to serve in callings in the wards I've been in, but I try to do whatever I can to help out whenever I can.
