Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a college student, a movie watcher, and a lover of Oreos. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student at BYU-Idaho striving to become a dental hygienist. I love hiking, movies, yummy food, biking, laughing, traveling, and my cat Nala. I have a passion for organization and caring for others. I have a blended family with half siblings, step siblings, and a step mom. I love my family and they strengthen and uplift me daily. I believe that Oreos, milk, and a good foot-rub can solve any problem. My favorite Friday night is playing games and eating treats with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon, but the reason I am a Mormon is because I have taken the time to truly find out for myself if this church is for me. As I have prayed, studied the scriptures, attended my church meetings, and turned to God in times of struggle I have come to know that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because this gospel brings me true happiness and joy. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Book of Mormon testifies of Him. It is the word of God. As I have read and studied the Book of Mormon, I have found peace, joy, and guidance for my life. I know that I am a daughter of God and that he loves me and all His children. Keeping the commandments and following the guidance and teachings of this church has brought me happiness and lead me down a life path that I know was meant for me. I am a Mormon because I love this gospel and I have found out for myself that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending all of my church meetings every Sunday, and by communicating with my Heavenly Father daily through prayer and scripture study. I strive to always be kind to those around me and to emulate the light of Jesus Christ in all that I do. I am currently taking a break from school to serve a full time mission in Vancouver, Washington. I love to share my faith and beliefs with others because in times of trials and struggles, my faith has truly made me happiest and most hopeful. I live my faith my keeping the commandments of God and by striving to be better each day.
