Hi I'm Scott

I'm a missionary of the Lord in West Virginia. I live by the Word, and by the rushing whitewater rivers. I'm also a Mormon...bonus

About Me

I love to be outdoors. I'm part of a family of 6. I've learned everything I know from my mom, dad, and the Spirit of the Lord. Whitewater kayaking is my favorite sport, and I love wrestling.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, but it wasn't until recently that I started realizing the many tender mercies and miracles it has brought into my life. When I read the scriptures and follow the commandments I get a good feeling inside. This feeling is the Spirit of God telling me that what I'm reading is true and what I doing is the right thing to do. This gospel changes lives. It has helped my life and will continue to do so. There is a living prophet on the earth today who is called of God himself to preside over His church in these days. God loves each of every one of his children no matter what. He wants us to come back to him and the way to do that is true this church.

How I live my faith

Jesus said if ye love me, keep my commandments. Our faith is expressed in what we do and why we do it. I show my faith by keeping the commandments and repenting of my sins so I can become more like my Savior Jesus Christ. We cannot be saved in the Kingdom of God without faith because we need that faith to choose who we will serve. I invite all who read this to exercise their faith and repent of their so they can be free and happy.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Scott
God loves all of his children and wants them to love one another no matter what. I only makes sense that we help ALL people and serve everyone. It doesn't matter who you are. We strive to live a Christlike life, and the only way to do that is to be like him. Christ served everyone and loved everyone. It would only make sense that we do the same. Show more Show less
