Hi I'm Cassandra Fisk

I'm a student, daughter, and a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a member of the church my whole life. My mom was a convert in her early 20's and my dad has been a member his whole life. I am one of five children in my family, and the second oldest of the kids. I just recently finished my first year of university taking general studies, and I am leaving soon to go serve in the Canada, Halifax mission. I enjoy playing the piano and flute, as well as teaching piano lessons, hiking, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I know I have a Father in Heaven and a Savior who love me, and who only want the best for me. I know that God has established a church on this earth with the proper authority to act in His name, and I am so grateful for that knowledge and for the blessing I have had to have been raised in this church. I am also so grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever, and for the peace that this gospel gives me, especially in regards to questions like "Where did we come from?", "Why are we here?" and "Where are we going?". This gospel provides a clarity and happiness to my life that cannot be found elsewhere.

How I live my faith

I am a family history worker for my church, and have done lots of work with genealogy and family trees over the years. I love the work I do for my church, because of the knowledge that families are forever, and so researching my family tree doesn't just mean looking up names, it means learning about people. I am also so excited to get the opportunity to serve a mission for my church and to dedicate the next 18 months to serving the Lord, and inviting my brothers and sisters to come unto Christ.
