Hi I'm Norm

I was raised on a farm in Idaho, in a small community, where my grandfather homesteaded in the early 1900's.

About Me

Agriculture has been my world for the majority of my life. My dad farmed with horses and today our tractors are driven by GPS. I graduated from Utah State University and married before I started farming on my own. Our six children have learned to work along side me. We enjoyed water skiing as a family and friends together.

Why I am a Mormon

Because of my pioneer heritage on both sides of my family, I have had many good people who set the example of the love they had for the Gospel. Some left family and personal wealth to join the church and come to America. I was taught in my home Gospel principles growing up, and those values and principles have been taught in my home to my children, and are now being taught to their children. I believe this is the Church of Jesus Christ which will gives us the ordinances and principles that are necessary to return to our Heavenly parents.

How I live my faith

My father died when I was fifteen and it was hard for me to understand why. It made me bitter at the time, but my mother had a lot of faith, and because of her faith, I have made the Gospel the center of my life over the years. The Gospel has helped me to serve in the community, on Planning and Zoning for the county, and I have been on the Gopher District for many years, as well as serving on other community committees. Service in the church was a big part of my life.
