Hi I'm Cheng Guan-Ting

I am from Taiwan. Before serving mission, I have studied in BYUH for 2 years with Social Work major.

About Me

During the break time, I like to watch dramas, doing witness training, and play the piano. By the way, one of the biggest interests is taking care of babies and children because I love their qualities of innocent, pure and optimistic. I always enjoy the time being with these angles from the Heaven. Additionally, now I want to talk about myself. I am a sophomore student with Social Work major. I love my college life that helps me meet a lot of friends from many different countries. My horizons have been extended internationally in these two years, and become more independent.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Mormon family that both my parents are members before married. Therefore, since I was a little child, Church has already played an irreplaceable and indispensable role in my life and in my mind. I am so grateful that I know the gospel in an early age because it helps me to clearly recognize Heavenly Father’s love, and understand the purpose of coming to this world. All the challenges and blessings are the strengths to help us grow and improve, and the support from the Heaven is the strongest power to help me overcome difficulties, and receive blessings and improvement. Therefore, I love this gospel because the knowledge I learned from the Church completely make me understand that I am His beloved child eternally. He listens our prayers, care about our needs, and love all of our good and bad.

How I live my faith

In the Church, I am a ward pianist who takes responsibility to play the hymns in the congregation. Also, I am a teacher in the primary class that I need to take care of them and teach them some simple lessons. I love my Church callings because they provide many chances to serve others, and feel the love of Heavenly Father and ward members. In addition, when I was a youth, the church held big event yearly that help these teenagers to know other peers from other cities, and the activities in the event help us understand Christ’s love deeper.
