Hi I'm Katie Fitt

I grew up in Florida. I am a college tennis player, flowerider, student, and future missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Florida. I love dancing, playing the piano, skiing, going to the beach, flowriding and especially love playing tennis. It has always been a goal to play tennis at Brigham Young University and was able to play at and attend BYU. I just finished my freshman year and loved it. I am taking an 18 month break from my studies at BYU to serve a mission in New York, New York. I will be learning to serve and teach in Korean on my mission which is very exciting because I am half Korean and will get learn more about my culture and heritage.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up Mormon because both my parents are active in the Church. Although I was brought up Mormon, I found out for myself that I love the gospel so much. I am a Mormon because I love my family so much and know I can be with them forever. I am a Mormon because I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that through his Atonement we can return and live with Him again. I am Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel and that we have modern day prophets that lead and guide us today. I am a Mormon because living this lifestyle brings me great joy and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live the gospel every day. I try to read and pray to my Heavenly Father daily. I also strive to keep the commandments. I think that a big part of living the gospel is striving to be a good example to others. Ultimately I strive every day to be more like my Savior, Jesus Christ.
