Hi I'm Weston Goodell

I grew up in West Virginia, youngest in a family of ten. I'll play just about any sport. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. I traveled across the country a lot, but I've never been outside America's borders. I got into sports since the age of five and, since then, tried just about every sport there is. In 2014, I graduated summa cum laude a Jefferson Cougar. I havent decided on a college to go to yet, but I have decided on serving a mission. I've worked three jobs which haven't given me a clue with what I want to do as my career.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the blessings I have received. I have a wonderful family that loves me, great friends and role models to look up to, and an overwhelming peace of mind knowing there is more to life after we die. I have made many mistakes in my life and I know I need to be forgiven each day. Without the Savior Jesus Christ and the atonement, I know I would be lost completely. I'm so grateful for my life and for all the happiness and the sadness, all the triumphs and the mistakes I have experienced and want to repay the Lord by doing his work and living the way he would have me live.

How I live my faith

I love going to church every Sunday and listening to others share their testimony of Christ and how they received it. I try and share my testimony as much as I can to help others feel his love. I do my best to follow whatever promptings I get from the Lord and try to be as obedient as possible. I take my leadership responsibilities very seriously, and pray always for help and guidance. I love reading the scriptures, both the Bible and the Book of Mormon every day and try and show others that they are amazing books filled with the words of prophets.
