Hi I'm Ryan

I'm from Chattanooga, TN. I'm the 2nd oldest of 5 children. Serving in the California Rancho Cucamonga Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a full time mission in the California, Rancho Cucamonga Mission, Spanish speaking. I love being able to share the gospel with others and testifying of Jesus Christ each and every day. I plan to attend BYU, Provo once I return from my mission in 2017. I love sports, especially wrestling, basketball, and football! I grew up in Chattanooga, TN where I was lucky enough to be able to do all sorts of outdoor activities like climbing, swimming, rappelling, hiking, cliff jumping, riding dirt bikes, and lots of other fun things!

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed enough to be born into a family that was already members of this wonderful church. Although, on some occasions I have really had to think about my own testimony. And I can truly say, that I am a Mormon by choice. Yes I was taught from a very young age about the gospel, but there have been times in my life that I have felt the Spirit testify of the truths of the Book of Mormon, and all the other things concerning this religion. I have taken religion classes, and been friends with really good Christians from other churches. But there is something unique about the Mormon faith, and if anybody will truly do what our missionaries direct, you can come to a knowledge of the truth yourself. I'm a Mormon because I see the happiness that comes from living the gospel in my own life, and in the lives of my parents and leaders.

How I live my faith

From a very young age, my parents have instilled in me and taught me the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I remember reading scriptures, having family prayers, and family home evening growing up. Although I never fully understood it all, it was just kinda what we did. But as I have grown I have gained a testimony for myself of this gospel. I live my faith by constantly praying, studying the scriptures and words of the prophets, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ as much as I possibly can. I strive to follow my Savior Jesus Christ's example when He said, "In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these my bretheren, ye have done it unto me."
