Hi I'm Layne Henderson

I grew up in a small town in Wyoming, I love spending time with my family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a soon to be missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I grew up in a small town in Wyoming, where families are very important. I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors, and helping others in our community.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because it is good for me. We have a very high standard of beliefs in our church and how we should act, and I love that. They aren't rules we are forced to follow, simply guidelines that when we choose to follow, can keep us safe and happy. I've chosen to stay a member of this church because I know that I will be able to be with my family not just for this life, but forever if we keep the commandments and repent of our mistakes. I know that this church is true, I love The Book of Mormon, it has been a light of guidance in my life, and a comfort for the hard times. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and that he has placed me on this earth for a reason, and part of my purpose is help others come unto Christ, and to raise a righteous family in the church. I know these things to be true.

How I live my faith

I have spent a lot of time in my growing up years, helping other people. In fact, that's a lot of what our youth group would do for our weekly activities. We have participated in many service projects helping the elderly people in our ward. However, I am now going on a church mission, where I will be teaching other people about our religion. I'm very excited to be able to have the opportunity to help others.
