Hi I'm Ashley

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have always been Mormon and would never change a thing, I love this church!

About Me

My name is Ashley, I am a resident of Utah in the United States. Living in Utah, I have lived in the same house my entire life until I left for college. Right now I'm majoring in Graphic Design/Illustration to pursue an artistic career in animation and/or illustration. I love art, and have drawn my whole life and continue to do so. It's my passion and I wouldn't have it any other way! Aside from art, I also love traveling, playing the guitar as well as the piano (although I'm still teaching myself) and learning new things (especially languages). I also love any recreational outdoor activity (particularly rock climbing and hiking), crocheting, knitting, sewing, and baking and cooking. As far as interests are involved, I love Star Wars, Indie Rock/Alternative music, the Paleo diet and anything involving Iceland.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church, although there were times when my family struggled and were inactive for a time, however that was only for a short period. Growing up in this church I have learned so much, and with everything I have learned I know it to be true. I say that because I have learned for myself from praying, reading the scriptures, going to church, and enduring through my trials that everything I have been taught and have discovered for myself is true. This church and gospel gives me peace in knowing that we are on this Earth for a reason and that we each are here because we have a purpose. This life is given to us so that we may endure challenges and overcome our trials so that we can gain the necessary experiences for us to return to our Beloved Heavenly Father. This lif

How I live my faith

Well in a few months I'm going to be leaving for a period of 18 months to serve as a full-time missionary to go share with others my faith and this gospel. As far as other positions in my church are involved, I have served as a President in each of the Young Women's branches, and at my singles ward I was on the Linger Longer Committee which gathered together every few months to provide food following church hours for a social gathering so people could get to know each other better in our area.
