Hi I'm Taylor

About Me

College student Studying Art History and French Sous-chef of a food truck Love to read, play sports and ski

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it wasn't until I was a teenager that I realized that I truly had gained a knowledge of the truthfulness of the Gospel for myself and not just based on the belief of my parents. Over many years of heartfelt prayer and study of the scriptures, periods of doubt, and periods of unimaginable spiritual growth, I have come to know of myself that God is my Heavenly Father who loves me more than I can even comprehend, Joseph Smith was called of God to restore His church on the earth, that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, Heavenly Father continues to provide guidance in this day and age through His servants the prophets, and that through obedience, and by using the Atonement of Jesus Christ, my sins can be washed away and I will be worthy to live once more with my Father in Heaven forever.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I am in charge of providing food at our ward events. It's truly beautiful to see how God uses each of our talents to help those around us. Through food, I have the opportunity to create unity and friendship to the members of my ward. The most important part of living my faith is constantly trying to better myself - reading the scriptures daily, praying sincerely to my Heavenly Father, and listening to the promptings of the Holy Ghost so that I can receive direction in my life or know when someone is in need of my service. We grow one day at time, little by little. In addition, I will be serving a mission for a year and a half, teaching the Gospel, and sharing what I know to be true.
