Hi I'm Elizabeth

I was born in Japan. I belong to 2 families. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a competitive figure skater up until the age of 15. I now perform in shows, skate simply for the fun of it, and coach younger aspiring skaters. In high school, I participated in things like dance team, student council, and Spanish National Honor Society. Now, in college, I am a science education major and a Japanese minor. I participate in Japan Club, the college figure skating team, and I often like to go country swing dancing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am the happiest I have ever been in my life in this Church. I have gone down the roads of temporary happiness and very trying times, yet I have never been so at peace in those moments as I am now in the Church. I have received so many blessings and a testimony that only continues to grow confirmed every day through little things. I know that my Savior lives and loves me too. No matter what troubles I go through in this life, I know that I will always be able to find answers in this Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Church and as many Church-related activities as I can. I have been called in the past as a Laurels' First Counselor, a YSA Representative, an FHE Leader, a Japanese Sunday School Teacher, and a Visiting Teaching District Leader. I have recently been called as a sister missionary to serve in the Japan Nagoya mission starting October of 2015.
