Hi I'm Gina

I am originally from Brooklyn, NY but was raised in North Carolina; which I consider my hometown. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

First and Foremost I am a mother to a beautiful 2 year old boy named Roderick who is the world to me. I'm also an older student who has returned to college after serving in the military for eight years. I have been all over the world and would like to continue doing so since I love to travel. Some of my hobbies are reading, watching movies, traveling and listening to music.

Why I am a Mormon

I am convert. I was introduced to the church by my neighbor who invited me to join her for a meeting. To my surprise it was full of people and turned to be general conference. I came back the following Sunday and I felt something different. I felt welcomed and overall good feeling being there that I had not felt when I went to mass all those years growing up. I started to get lessons from the elders at 17 and became a Mormon at 18. Unfortunately, I fell away from the church and went down the wrong path involving some bad choices. After being away from the church, I felt a desire to reach out and contact my local church. Since I returned I can honestly say my life has been better. I'm surrounded by people who truly care about one another and know that the church is true. I have seen many blessings since my return and testify this church is true.

How I live my faith

I am visiting home teacher which means I go to other members homes and discuss the monthly message from the church.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?
