Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in Snowflake, Arizona. I love riding horses, playing sports, camping, and reading. I love the gospel! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of eight children, and love being able to hang out and play outdoor sports with my family. I am a cowgirl and help my dad run a ranch in my hometown. I love riding horses, working cattle, camping, and playing sports. I especially love softball! I played for my varsity team all four years in high school. I just like being outside. I also enjoy reading and will spend the time that I'm not outside doing that. I went to ASU for a year and want to become a Physical Therapist when I return from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Lord and I want to follow him in his true church. I was born into a Mormon family and baptized when I was eight, so I never really had any questions about the gospel until I moved out of my house to go to college. When I began living on my own I couldn't depend on the testimony of my parents and had to gain one for myself. After carefully studying my scriptures, the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I prayed to the Lord in order to know what was true. Eventually, I slowly gained my own testimony and continue to make it stronger today. I love this gospel and the things it teaches. I love how It teaches that families can be together because I love my family and I always want to be with them. I love how it teaches where we came from, why we are here on earth, and where we are going. It gives me so much comfort and clarity and helps me know how to live my life in order to return to live with my Heavenly Father. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

One of the big ways that I am living my faith is by going on a mission for the church. I will be leaving in the next couple of months to serve a mission for eighteen months and I am so excited! I can't wait to serve the Lord. Other ways I have lived my faith are with my callings in the church. Some of the callings I have held have been a counselor in the program that the church has for young women. Part of the job involved in that calling is helping coordinate weekly events for the youth in the church. I was also a Sunday School teacher for the seven year olds in my ward. I got to teach them about different parts of the gospel every Sunday and it was great!
