Hi I'm Lindsy Larson

I grew up in Utah. I come from a family of 8. I love music, playing rugby, and spending time with my family and friends.

About Me

I love singing and listening to music. Rugby is my favorite sport! It is the best! I am fourth of eight children. I love spending time with my family. We are all very close. I love being outdoors and enjoying nature. Education is very important to me. I have dedicated a lot of my life to being successful in school. I am leaving to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints soon. There is nothing else I would rather be doing at this time. I can't wait!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I have always been taught the gospel ever since I was a little girl. My parents are both very strong in the church and they would always do family nights every Monday night, read scriptures, take us to church, pray with us, and bare their testimonies to us. I always knew that my parents truly believed what they taught us, and for a long time I went through the motions because it was what felt natural. I did it because it was expected of me and I didn't want to disappoint my parents. Little by little, I had my own experiences that made me realize how much I love being a part of the church. I read the Book of Mormon for myself and felt the Holy Ghost testify to me of truth. Slowly, as I learned more and more, I got a testimony for myself that I would never want to be away from my church. Everything makes so much sense, and it is what truly brings me happiness in this life.

How I live my faith

The last two years I have taught 4 year old children in primary. I have learned so much from them and their pure, innocent minds. I have grown so much by sharing my testimony with them and letting them know how important the church is to me in my life. My goal was to teach them about the gospel of Jesus Christ in such a way that they would learn and have fun and also be a place where they would love to go every Sunday.
