Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. Played basketball at Corvallis High School. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 18 years old and just recently graduated High School. I am a diabetic and was first diagnosed at age 12. I love to play sports and stay active. Basketball is a big part of our family. I have two younger brothers. Family is a big part of my life I wouldn't be who I am without them and their love and support. We do everything together. I love to stay busy whether its working, playing basketball, boating, 4 wheeling, you name it. I'm always doing something.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church. I have a long line of ancestors that lead back to when it was first founded. I have been blessed to always know that this church is true. Even though I grew up following my parents I have been able to gain my own testimony. I am a Mormon because I can see how happy my family is. I see all the blessings that come from following our church standards and the teachings of the Prophet. Everyday is a blessing being able to know that being a Mormon gives me peace and truth that I am a son of God and that I can receive blessing from following him.

How I live my faith

I have been recently called to serve a mission in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where I will be speaking Spanish. Before I was called I served as a ward missionary which means I help the missionaries in my ward and give lessons to less active members in my ward. I am an Eagle Scout. Our church is very involved in the scouting program which provides service to the community and strengthens young men to become better people. I was also involved a lot in our youth group at church planning activities that the young men and women could enjoy together.
