Hi I'm Cameron

I grew up in Southern California, I have an internet following for hair product reviews, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently a college student at BYU-I, and also have decided to serve a mission. I'm going to Lusaka Zambia in Africa. I'm the first ever missionary in my family. I have somewhat of an internet following with hair product reviews and hair style videos. I love old school Rockabilly and 1950's style. I like just about every genre of music expect for country. I love watching movies and hope to peruse something in the future with entertainment as a base. I don't know what that might be but something that won't have me filing papers all day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but my parents never forced the religion onto me and always said it was my choice to become a member and to serve a mission. As I was growing up, I never was one to break the rules but always felt like the church gave me proper direction with any choice that I made. The standards that the church has set for members are standards that I apply to my own life, and by doing this, I have attracted others that have the same morals as well. Through doing what has been asked of me, I have only ever received great blessings in my life, and when I am not coherent with the gospel, I am never happy. Being a Latter day saint has brought joy in my life and I am grateful that this church was never forced on me and my parents let me decide if this is something I truly care for. Along with my love for the morals of this church, I also love the doctrine that we have. Having the Book of Mormon makes reading other sacred doctrine feel complete. With the Book of Mormon I have gained true knowledge that Jesus is the Christ and that he died for us because he loves us. I am also grateful that the 1st prophet of our restored church Joseph Smith, selflessly lived his life and translated the Book of Mormon for all of us. He is a true prophet of God. This church is the God's true church and I am thankful everyday that I am a member.

How I live my faith

I have done a handful of different jobs in my church, even though I am a younger guy. I've taught lessons to younger guys and older guys in my church, and have kept roll for both of those areas as well. Also, once a month I visit other members homes and chat with them and leave a spiritual message. I've been in leadership positions before where I've had to organize Sunday School events, and have held said events at either my house or apartment.
