Hi I'm Tanner

I love the outdoors, music, my family, and my faith. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors and love exploring. Riding four wheelers and snowmobiles are some of my favorite things to do in the summer and winter, along with wakeboarding and snowboarding. I love playing music on my guitar. Cars are great. I like driving them, talking about them, and, at the moment, selling them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I couldn't imagine my life without this gospel. I know it to be true. The feelings of peace and comfort I receive when times are hard are priceless. I receive so much joy in knowing that I have a loving Father in Heaven who is constantly watching out for me and blessing me, and knowing that His Son made it possible for me to live with my family for eternity. And because of that Atonement Christ made, I never have to feel alone when dealing with the many difficulties that life throws at each and every one of us. Christ knows exactly what we all have and will ever have to go through, knows exactly how we feel, and He is there to help us through whatever it may be every step of the way. I wouldn't trade the knowledge I have of this gospel for the world.

How I live my faith

I love my faith. I am leaving to serve a mission soon, and couldn't be more excited to share the gospel with those around me. The gospel and plan of salvation that our Heavenly Father created for us give me feelings of peace and happiness, and I want to share the gospel with others to they can feel happy and at peace also. I love the opportunities I often get through my ward to serve those around me. Service projects are the best!

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Tanner
We believe that we lived with God and Jesus Christ before we came to this earth, and we will be given the chance to continue to live with them after we die, if we live according to the laws and commandments God has given us. We aren't perfect however, and as no unclean thing can dwell in the presence of God, Christ suffered the Atonement for us which makes this idea of "eternal life" possible. Also, we get to be with our families for eternity. That's pretty cool, right? Show more Show less
