Hi I'm Jordan Hall

I'm an 18-year old, nerd in training, video gaming, adventuring, missionary-ing, young man. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm just a young nerd in training. I was born in Washington, then moved to California, then to Utah. I was raised in a house with 4 younger brothers and my mom and dad. Everyone always feels bad for my mom for being the only girl in the house, but she wouldn't have it any other way. I've never been very good at sports or anything like that, so I spend a lot of my time drawing and doing theatre. I also relax and unwind by playing video games, watching TV, surfing the interwebs, you know, the works. I'm proud to say that I do watch anime, my favorite being Madoka Magica. I also read many webcomics, and yes that includes Homestuck. I love spending time with friends and family and having a fun time. I'd like to be known as being an optimistic, easy-going kind of person.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon, not because I've grown up with it my entire life, but because I know it's true. I can see how being a mormon has changed my life for the better. It's made me happier, more kind, more patient, and just a better person over all. That's why I continue to live it, because I know of it's blessings. I know that it will continue to be a blessing in my life as long as I continue to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I love being an active part of my church. I've been in many leadership callings that have really helped me remove boundaries between my neighbors and I. I enjoy teaching classes or leading gospel discussions in church. I like spending time doing service for my brothers and sisters in the church. Service is something that has built my testimony. Without it, I wouldn't have nearly as many friends, or be as happy as I am today. It's amazing how by giving your time, you seem to have much more of it. So right now, I'm sharing my testimony of service by serving a mission. I'm off in the the Illinois, Chicago mission and I love it! Every day is another chance to share the gospel that I know and love with someone new. I'm giving up a lot things that I used to enjoy, like anime and webcomics, in order to devote my time to something I love, the gospel. I know that this mission is right for me, and that this is the best thing I can be doing right now.
