Hi I'm Alondra

I am from the Dominican Republic . I am a law student and last but not least I am Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the Dominican Republic , I moved to USA when I was five years old and lived there for five years. I studied in a military high school. I started college in 2015 , I am studying law. I feel very excited because on november I am going on a full time mission to serve in Utah. I have two brothers and one sister I am the third one.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was six years old my mom became a Mormon and I started to go to church and to live the life of a mormon. As a grew up I started to develop my own testimony and started to now that I wanted to be part of the church and live the principles of the church not only because of my mom but because I knew that this was the correct thing because I felt happy living this way and I felt peace in my heart. I know that this is the truth gospel of Christ I know that being a mormon is no easy but is worth it I know that God lives and that we are his children. The world is becoming harder and harder each day to raise children and I have become a virtuos women thanks to the principles that mom learned in the church and then taught me and with these principles I want to raise my own kids . Life is so much easier and happier when you have Christ by youre side and when you are obedient to his commandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching others in church. I also give voluntary service in the activities of the church like going to visit kids in hospitals. I also try to share my talents like I am very good in math I try to help others with math homeworks.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Alondra
We want to help others come to Christ and find the truth peace and happiness. I would give you a simple example: when you have tasted a good cake its normal to tell youre friends and family about how good that cake you tasted was so they can taste it and see how good it is. It is the same with the gospel we as members and missionaries that have tasted and seen the miracles that the gospel have done in our life want to share to help others taste the truth of the gospel and get the same happiness we have.
