Hi I'm Josie

I love soccer. I love my family. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been playing soccer since I was four years old. I am a student athlete. I love reading, playing the piano, hiking, and eating. I am the oldest of seven children and I have four sisters and two brothers. I am currently serving in the Japan Kobe Mission and love serving the Lord. I can't wait to come home and continue serving in different ways!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a LDS family with amazing and loving parents. They taught me to take my troubles, questions, and concerns to the Lord and to receive answers for myself. I am not a Mormon because I rely on my parents' testimonies because I know for myself that the things I have been taught are true. I am a child of God. Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and restored the church. Thomas S. Monson is a living Prophet. The book of Mormon is the word of God. All of these things are true and I know because the spirit has confirmed that to me. The joy and happiness found in following gospel principles is priceless. I love this gospel!

How I live my faith

I live my faith my doing the little things every day like reading the scriptures, praying, serving, going to church, and being a good friend. Even just a simple smile can bring hope and light to somebody's day. I also live my faith by sharing my talents. When I play soccer, I am serving God by allowing my body to work and move in an effort to help and support my team around me.
