Hi I'm Calvin Bryan Smoot

I grew up moving from place to place. I am a missionary serving in the San Jose, CA mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the church. My whole life I have been an active member of the church. I am a Missionary for the Church right now. Before I graduated High School, and was good in the cyber operations. I have plans to attend school afterword to study cyber security. I have also biked (on a bicycle ) across two states (Kansas and Iowa).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, becuase of the blessing I receive from staying true to the gospel. Without these blessing I would not be who I am right now.

How I live my faith

Right now I choose to live my faith by sharing the gospel. The gospel has brought me so much joy and I want to share this with others.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Calvin Bryan Smoot
We do baptisms for the dead because of the importance of families. Baptism is the first ordinance that we preform to become families forever. I know that baptism is key to receiving all the blessing that our Heavenly Father wants to give us in this life and in the next. Show more Show less
