Hi I'm Rolle

I´m a Finn and I love sports, history, Greece (where I will serve my mission) and being a Mormon.

About Me

I´m 20 years old and have graduated from high school and served a year in the Finnish army as a military police as did my father 20 years earlier (although I obtained a higher rank than he did). I have one little brother. I enjoy playing a lot of sports (ice hockey, floorball, soccer, badminton, squash, table tennis, basketball, you name it). I played 8 years of floorball, which is a variation of hockey popular here in the Nordic countries. I also enjoy history, especially warfare with the world wars and medieval castles. I love the beautiful Finnish nature and enjoy quiet nights playing board games with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I´m a third generation Mormon and been a member of this church for my whole life. I love being a Mormon, because the gospel has blessed my life more than anything else. The gospel and the church have given me such wonderful joy, peace, comfort, sense of purpose, a reason why I am here and a direction where I´m going. I´ve always wanted to be the very best that I can (I´m very competitive with myself) and through the gospel God has helped me to continue to reach my full potential and each day to be the very best I can be. I wouldn't be where I am now and be the person who I am without this gospel and help of God. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true restored church of Jesus Christ and that it has the fullness of the gospel and by through our Savior we can return to God´s presence. I know that we have a living prophet these days and that the Book of Mormon is word of God. I know this because reading the Book of Mormon and listening to our prophets I have received answers and guidance in my questions and situations throughout my life that have helped me tremendously. I know that our Heavenly father and Jesus loves us all very much and want us to be able to live with them again.

How I live my faith

In our ward I was for 1,5 years until my mission a Sunday school teacher for 7-8 year old kids and it was one the of the most rewarding callings for me as I had the chance to see how these little children started to develop their faith in Jesus Christ and get baptized when they turned 8. I´ve also been very open about my faith and religion and all of my friends from school and army have known that I am a Mormon and now I´m happy to share my faith for the next two years as a full-time missionary to the people in Greece and Cyprus.
